The Development and Marketing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in orchestrating fundraising and promotional strategies that align with our commitment to community-based services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Vice President of Development and Communications in managing donor relations through meticulous organization and analysis of prospect research data.
- Oversee all stages of the gift management process, ensuring accurate data entry, timely donor acknowledgment, and seamless reconciliation with the finance department.
- Maintain the integrity of the fundraising database to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Conduct market research to identify potential donors and refine outreach strategies.
- Develop and implement local marketing initiatives utilizing both traditional and digital platforms.
- Innovate methods to connect with potential service recipients, stakeholders, and donors.
- Manage the agency's social media presence and content calendar to enhance engagement and brand visibility.
- Create compelling written content and graphic designs for emails, social media, and marketing materials.
- Analyze and report on data to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for new content and public relations projects that align with organizational goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service and collaborate effectively with external constituents, consultants, and vendors.
- Maintain strong communication and relationships with clients, team members, and funders.
- Offer additional administrative support as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field is preferred.
- Entry-level marketing experience with 2-4 years in coordinating marketing and advertising campaigns, including online placements.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills are essential.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for graphic design.
- Proficiency in various social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Awareness of current events and marketing trends relevant to specific geographic areas.
