Insurance Business Development Representative

Job Description:
The Insurance Business Development Representative will provide strategic support to the Director, Vice President, and/or Senior Vice President of Sales and assigned Firms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops insurance business by building relationships with producers and financial advisors.
- Assists in producing needs analysis, sales proposals, and sales illustrations.
- Coordinates marketing seminars, maintains sales database, and assists in implementing marketing programs.
- Possesses a clear understanding of wire house firms, their requirements, and Crump's supporting role within their systems.
- Understands and explains life insurance products, differences between product types, and advantages of owning life insurance.
- Helps identify sales opportunities and provides direction and assistance in selling life insurance products.
- Provides detailed information on products and solutions, including estate planning, insurance planning, and deferred compensation.
- Communicates effectively with financial advisors and clients in writing or over the phone.
- Covers training sessions, key meetings, and coordinates within the Crump Sales and business development teams.
- Interfaces with support staff for completing and placing life insurance with clients.
Requirements:
- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Time management and prioritization skills.
- Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
- Self-directed work style.
- Experience with PC's in a Windows environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications like Microsoft Office software products.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
- FINRA registrations (Series 6 and 63), Life, Health & Accident active license, three years of direct life insurance selling experience, or five years handling inside sales.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced designations like JD, CFP, CLU, and other industry credentials.
Benefits:
