TEKsystems is seeking motivated individuals for a Collections Counselor position with a leading Financial Institution.

Position Overview:

  • Engage in a call center environment, utilizing an auto-dialer for outbound communications while also handling incoming calls.
  • Focus on early-stage collections (1-30 days overdue), achieving daily call targets.
  • Manage and recover past due Consumer Loan and Credit Card accounts during initial delinquency phases.
  • Provide financial guidance to members and work to minimize potential losses.

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid schedule with a combination of in-office and remote work.

Work Hours:

Full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, with weekend shifts included.

Availability to work on weekends is essential, with a compensatory day off during the week.

Key Skills:

Experience in collections, sales objectives, customer service, and administrative support is preferred.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to and advise members in delinquency to explore all available payment options and loss mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee delinquency management for Consumer and Credit Card loan accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with notification requirements, including necessary collection communications.
  • Clearly explain options for resolution, including settlements and bankruptcy alternatives.
  • Gather comprehensive financial information from members in delinquency and propose viable solutions.
  • Conduct manager share transfers within authorized limits.
  • Provide regular reporting to supervisors, including activity trends and payment updates.
  • Utilize online resources and collaborate with relevant parties as needed.
  • Continuously review member account information to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
