Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing orders, and performing marketing outreach to prospective customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service via email and phone support
  • Process orders, including payment verification, order entry, and packaging and shipping software-related products
  • Perform marketing outreach to prospective customers via email, phone, and web-based marketing software
  • Maintain web-based customer databases
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phone and door, sorting and opening mail, and communicating with staff and students
  • Maintain communication among various departments and third-party vendors
  • Provide budgeting and accounting support to the Executive Director
  • Purchase office supplies and organize offsite conference logistics
Requirements
  • Two years of college or more with familiarity with accounting and budgeting issues
  • 2-3 years customer service work experience
  • Experience with computers and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, Word, and Access
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail, strong initiative to learn new tasks, and strong organizational and time management skills
