Position Overview:
The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced Interiors Integration Engineer to contribute to our innovative projects. This role involves working on advanced aircraft interior systems, specifically focusing on the next generation of Presidential Aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective design and requirements management.
  • Drive technical solutions for various interior components, including seating, lighting, and furnishings.
  • Engage with USAF representatives to foster strong relationships and represent customer interests.
  • Utilize 3-D Computer Aided Design tools (such as CATIA/ENOVIA) to develop and modify interior payload system designs.
  • Conduct analytical assessments and testing to validate system compliance with specifications.
  • Manage supplier interactions to optimize design and achieve program objectives.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance design processes and tools for improved efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial payload systems or aircraft interiors.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary engineering environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in aircraft interior design.
  • Experience leading projects from design through to production.
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and certification processes.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations and take initiative.

Work Environment:
This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring some onsite presence. Candidates must be eligible for U.S. Security Clearance, necessitating U.S. Citizenship.
