Job Description

The Accounting Operations Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end business processes and adherence to policies and procedures for the North America region. This role will focus on purchase to pay and order to cash activities, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Liaise with site personnel to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct company-wide training and refresh on processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Work with the Corporate Controller to develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor and report on P2P and OTC activities, including compliance related to procurement, accounts payable, and corporate credit card spending.
  • Responsible for month-end close review and approvals related to credit card and T&E coding and journals.
  • Supervise a team of 2, Staff Accountant- Operations and Accounts Payable Specialist.
  • Responsible for establishing procedures for vendor account reconciliation.
  • Implementation and monitoring of internal controls related to daily site activities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience with 4+ years of supervisory experience and working cross-functionally with operations teams.
  • Industry experience in hospitality, retail, and/or CPG industries.
  • Academic background in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and direct experience with automated A/P platforms, POS systems, and ERP systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess the skills to rapidly execute change.
