Job Overview

CoreWeave is a leading AI HyperscalerTM, delivering a cloud platform of cutting-edge services powering the next wave of AI. We're seeking a Senior Manager of Operations Technical Accounting to manage the technical accounting aspects of our data center operations, including lease arrangements and long-term purchase commitments.

This role requires a subject matter expert in all aspects of technical accounting faced by the Company's data center operations, partnering with multiple cross-functional teams to determine the appropriate accounting for complex arrangements while achieving Company objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate accounting for liabilities and expenses associated with operating data centers in compliance with applicable accounting standards, providing related footnote disclosures and accurately disclosing non-GAAP measures.
  • Manage and update Company policies around accounting operations, including leases accounting, fixed asset lives, and vendor contract review.
  • Provide proactive subject-matter expertise and guidance to legal, operations, and business development teams during contract negotiations, ensuring accounting principles are upheld while meeting operational objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience with contract review and interpretation, especially in technical accounting matters.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, particularly ASC 842.
  • Previous experience in Cloud or Data Center Infrastructure preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in a publicly traded company with SOX compliance highly desirable.
  • 8+ years of experience with a demonstrated passion for conquering challenges and bringing order from chaos.
  • Strong partnership, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • CPA strongly preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Data and process-driven with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Proactive with the ability to anticipate and avoid problems.
