Job Title: Claims Business Solutions Developer III

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Business Solutions Developer III to join our team. As a key member of our business solutions development team, you will be responsible for planning, conceptualizing, configuring, and building solutions that solve claims configuration and provider data challenges within the business using technological tools or programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and requirement gathering to determine customer needs and drive strategy and oversee the development process from an operational perspective.
  • Act as a subject matter expert providing advice, support, and guidance as needed and serve as a mentor to colleagues.
  • Provide solutions to provider data and claims configuration challenges such as new implementations and process improvements.
  • Design workflows showing current state versus future state.
  • Write code for software programs and applications, working with classes, using inheritance and virtualization, and following best programming practices.
  • Perform complex research and advanced analysis; find/create best solutions to stakeholder requests or problems; identify the best method or tool to develop solutions.
  • Collaborate with and mentor peers on development and solution strategy; regular code reviews and pull requests; team partnership to identify efficient and effective scalable product solutions.
  • Lead and facilitate meetings to conduct requirements gathering; maintain communication with stakeholders during solution development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Completion of a technical training program (e.g., LaunchCode, FDM, etc.) may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • Healthcare experience a plus.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: SQL, Claims Configuration, Provider Data, Visio or other process workflow software.
