Position Summary:

The Equipment Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of all production machinery. This position involves sourcing parts, managing inventory, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to guarantee that all equipment at our facilities remains fully functional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive facility programs, ensuring that safety protocols are integrated into all plans.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee the ordering process for necessary parts and supplies.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, organizing parts in designated storage areas.
  • Establish and communicate standard operating procedures for maintenance and quality assurance.
  • Engage with vendors and suppliers to evaluate and recommend purchases of equipment and materials.
  • Analyze proposed modifications to existing systems and provide recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the facility by suggesting improvements and efficiencies.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the workplace.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with specific experience in CNC machine repair and composites equipment maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in using various hand tools and equipment safely.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including non-climate-controlled areas.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate safety gear as required.
