Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
  • Carry out repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and problem-solving.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in building maintenance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical background preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting.
  • Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move around the hotel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with hotel engineering/maintenance systems.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Ability to train and mentor other team members.
