Job Title: Engineering Technologist

Lincoln Electric is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technologist to join our team at our Euclid, Ohio headquarters. As an Engineering Technologist, you will provide technical support to our engineers in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement, and product development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to engineers in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement, and product development.
  • Develop and recommend procedures and methods, and prepare technical reports and documentation.
  • Perform technical evaluations of events to determine root cause and recommend corrective actions.
  • Utilize schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment, or systems.
  • Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data using established formulae and procedures, and perform detailed mathematical calculations.
  • Operate basic lab equipment, including meters, oscilloscopes, temperature recorders, etc. (Training provided as needed).
  • Train, assist, and observe other department personnel on department equipment and/or process for improvements such as safety, quality, ISO 14001 & 45001, and manufacturing proficiency/efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science, Engineering Technology preferred.
  • Ability to work within defined technical processes and procedures or methodologies.
  • Ability to work with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused only on complex new assignments.
  • Good organizational skills and computer skills; proficient in the use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
