Objective: To engage with the Advanced Technology Team in the development and enhancement of both new and existing products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer technical assistance to engineers in the creation and evaluation of innovative power electronic designs for Lincoln's Advanced Technology offerings.
- Utilize expertise to support the design of cutting-edge welding equipment.
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting for electrical and electronic systems.
- Assemble and integrate prototype electronic circuits into machinery.
- Operate essential laboratory equipment, including meters and oscilloscopes (training provided as necessary).
- Execute a diverse range of design verification and compliance tests.
- Collect, maintain, and analyze technical data.
- Document test results and various investigations in detail.
- May lead projects or specific project phases within a larger initiative or hold accountability for ongoing tasks or objectives.
- Assume additional responsibilities as required in alignment with the Company's strategic goals.
Basic Qualifications:
- Level I: Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology
- Level II: Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology with 3+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate Degree in a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Level III: Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate Degree in a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience, or 15+ years of relevant experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Understanding of basic electronic components and their functions.
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and various meters.
- Capable of using hand and power tools for assembly and analysis tasks.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with CAD software; willingness to learn SAP.
- Ability to perform hands-on tasks and lift up to 60 lbs regularly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities.
- Adaptability to a dynamic set of priorities.
- Job Level and Pay Grade will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
