Objective: To engage with the Advanced Technology Team in the development and enhancement of both new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer technical assistance to engineers in the creation and evaluation of innovative power electronic designs for Lincoln's Advanced Technology offerings.
  • Utilize expertise to support the design of cutting-edge welding equipment.
  • Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting for electrical and electronic systems.
  • Assemble and integrate prototype electronic circuits into machinery.
  • Operate essential laboratory equipment, including meters and oscilloscopes (training provided as necessary).
  • Execute a diverse range of design verification and compliance tests.
  • Collect, maintain, and analyze technical data.
  • Document test results and various investigations in detail.
  • May lead projects or specific project phases within a larger initiative or hold accountability for ongoing tasks or objectives.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required in alignment with the Company's strategic goals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Level I: Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology

  • Level II: Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology with 3+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate Degree in a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of relevant experience.

  • Level III: Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate Degree in a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience, or 15+ years of relevant experience.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Understanding of basic electronic components and their functions.
  • Proficient in using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and various meters.
  • Capable of using hand and power tools for assembly and analysis tasks.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with CAD software; willingness to learn SAP.
  • Ability to perform hands-on tasks and lift up to 60 lbs regularly.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic set of priorities.
  • Job Level and Pay Grade will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
