Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Berman Skin Institute. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Verify patient information and maintain accurate medical records
- Prepare patients for examination and assist with procedures as needed
- Perform various patient care tasks under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider
- Manage office telephone system and schedule patient appointments
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Medical Assistant Certification (strongly preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of prior medical assistant experience, preferably in dermatology or a closely aligned specialty
- Ability to work autonomously and make appropriate decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
