We are seeking a skilled Construction Materials Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Metro Consulting Associates, LLC.
About the RoleThis position is responsible for traveling to construction project sites and performing quality assurance testing and inspections on construction materials. The ideal candidate will have relevant field experience and be able to interpret spec books, blueprints, and maps.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a range of field testing and inspection services of construction materials (soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregates, and masonry) on roads, utilities, parking lots, and various construction projects.
- Review all data for compliance with project specifications; record and communicate any deviations from the specifications to the project supervisor and client.
- Complete daily reports of observations and accurately record test results; submit results to project supervisors for review and processing.
- One (1) or more years of relevant field experience preferred.
- Required to have satisfactory results on a Motor Vehicle Record check and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Able to pass federal DOT drug screening and background check.
- Must be able to communicate professionally with client representatives at project sites.

- Retirement benefits including a 401(k) plan with up to 4% employer match (eligible after 6 months of employment), which is 100% fully vested on day one.
