Resident Assessment Coordinator

Monroe Health Services is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires excellent clinical assessment skills, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of state and federal regulations.
About the Role:
This position involves administering the RAI process, ensuring accurate and timely resident assessments. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will also provide education and support to our staff to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer the RAI process and ensure accurate and timely resident assessments
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team
- Provide education and support to staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care
- Collaborate with our quality improvement team to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhancing resident care
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the relevant state licensing board
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a geriatric setting or related field
- Demonstrated competence in PPS assessment and OBRA compliance
- Excellent clinical assessment skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental and vision insurance, 401(K) Program, paid holidays, company-paid life insurance, and paid time off.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $75,000.
