As an IT Systems Intern at INIT, you will play a vital role in supporting all aspects of IT Service Delivery for our internal infrastructure and customer-facing systems.

You will serve as a member of our service desk, reviewing, resolving, assigning, tracking, and escalating IT service requests.

Responsibilities include providing support for end-user devices, performing hardware and software troubleshooting, inventory, asset management, training, software installations, configuration management, and security reviews.

This is a part-time position, requiring less than 30 hours per week.

Key Skills:

  • Customer service
  • Research and troubleshooting
  • Computer hardware and software support
  • Asset inventory and management
  • Help desk / support desk software management
  • Training end-users in basic computer and software functionality
  • Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and other business layer applications

Competencies Required:

  • Customer service skills
  • Remotely assisting end-users through technical problems
  • Following documented processes
  • Logical and analytical skills
  • Documenting troubleshooting steps and results
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Crawling, standing, reaching, climbing regularly

Education Required:

Pursuit of a degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Information Security, or other relevant degree program from a higher education institution is required.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • A+, Network+, Security+ preferred
