Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Technician III to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, integrating, and installing communication, network, and security systems into various military and government agency platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble communication, network, and security systems
  • Work with Quality Control, Engineering, and Project Managers to provide feedback and resolve issues
  • Read and interpret technical drawings for fabrication and installation
  • Build installation kits and travel to support customers worldwide

Requirements:

  • High school diploma and 4 years of related experience or Associate degree in Engineering
  • Cable fabrication experience and ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and instructions
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools
  • Ability to frequently work in a sitting, standing, or walking position and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and work with hazardous materials
  • Basic operational skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Complex soldering and cable fabrication experience
  • Metal fabrication experience and fiber certification
  • Audio/Visual/Teleconferencing installation experience and commercial electronic security system experience
