Production Technician III

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Technician III to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing communication, network, and security systems for military and government agency platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Fabricate and assemble communication, network, and security systems for various military and government agency platforms.
- Work with Quality Control, Engineering, and Project Managers to provide feedback and resolve issues.
- Read and interpret technical drawings for fabrication and installation of communication, network, and security systems.
- Build installation kits and travel to various locations to support our customers.
- High school diploma and 4 years of related experience or Associate degree in Engineering.
- Cable fabrication experience and ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and instructions.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with a range of hand and power tools.
- Ability to frequently work in a sitting, standing, or walking position and lift and carry 10 pounds and occasionally lift and carry 50+ pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and work with hazardous material.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. state driver's/operator's license or permit and travel within the U.S. and overseas (up to 50%).
- Complex soldering and cable fabrication experience.
- Metal fabrication experience and fiber certification.
- Audio/Visual/Teleconferencing installation experience and commercial electronic security system experience.
- Fall protection training for working at heights.
