Navy Air Traffic Control Systems Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Navy Air Traffic Control Systems Technician III/IV to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will provide technical and engineering services to USN/USMC Air Traffic Control Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply electrical and electronic theory to design, build, repair, calibrate, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery.
- Work under the direction of engineering staff to evaluate and use electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery in making engineering design decisions.
- Provide electronic, telephonic, and on-site fleet support on the operation and maintenance of military radar and navigational aids.
- Develop training curriculum and materials for fleet training evolutions.
- Train others on the use and maintenance of electronic systems.
- Conduct Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) level repair of electronic systems.
- Familiarity with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) and knowledge of common and specialty hand tools, general purpose electronic test equipment (GPETE), and special purpose electronic test equipment (SPETE).
- Ability and willingness to travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations (up to 25%).
Requirements
- High School Diploma and completion of electronics training and/or electronics experience.
- Completion of U.S. Navy C School and/or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of experience in electronic systems, including installing electronic systems equipment and designing, preparing, and modifying engineering documents and drawings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Applied Sciences, Technical Studies.
- Experience using Microsoft Office software.
- Familiarity with the operation of Unix and/or Linux software.
