Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Amazon Data Services, Inc. as a Fleet Remediation Project Design Electrical Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement electrical infrastructure for our data centers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead design projects for operational data centers, focusing on remediation, upgrades, and new services.
- Develop and maintain electrical design standards, ensuring consistency and reliability in services delivered.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, including design engineering, server hardware, environmental health and safety, field engineering, and controls engineering.
- Interface with stakeholders to promote standards and ensure seamless project execution.
- Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for electrical design and remediation projects.
- Support construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 6+ cumulative years of design experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities, including data centers, power generation, and oil/gas facilities.
- Direct experience with design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities as a resident design engineer or hands-on design consultant.
- Registered Professional Engineer or advanced degree in engineering, business, or related field.
- Ability to carry design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment/mass production.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region.
