Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Systems Engineering Manager to join our team at Aldi. Key Responsibilities
  • Support Field Investigations: Collaborate with ALDI Facilities and Construction teams to investigate and resolve complex mechanical complications in our stores.
  • Commissioning and Training: Train stakeholders on refrigeration, HVAC, and control systems within our stores, ensuring seamless implementation and operation.
  • Coordinate Implementation: Work with equipment manufacturers to coordinate the implementation of strategic initiatives and support the resolution of complex mechanical complications.
  • Education and Training: Educate and train others on refrigeration, HVAC, and control systems, leveraging your expertise to drive energy optimization, system uptime, and sustainability goals.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of professionals, driving projects and tasks to completion through effective prioritization, work planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Cost-Saving Opportunities: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and potential process improvements, ensuring the efficient operation of our stores.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster open communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including ALDI Facilities and Construction teams, equipment manufacturers, and government officials.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in refrigeration, HVAC, Building Automation, Controls, information technology, and/or computer programming, with a focus on retail operations.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel knowledge; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to facilitate group involvement and conduct onsite meetings.
