Job Summary

The Enrollment Specialist plays a vital role in the Sinclair Community College's Student Services Center, providing exceptional support to students in various enrollment-related areas. This position requires a high level of customer service, data accuracy, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver front-line enrollment support and assistance in areas such as Registration, Student Records, Testing, Remediation, Academic Advising, Financial Aid, and Scholarships.
  • Provide accurate information and exceptional service to students, resolving issues and completing transactions in a timely manner.
  • Act as the first point of contact for students, addressing their inquiries and concerns, and referring complex issues to the relevant departments.
  • Utilize various communication channels, including in-person, phone, email, and digital modalities, to deliver service to students.
  • Participate in required training and development programs to maintain high standards of service and accuracy.
  • Take direction from the Program Director of Enrollment Operations and the Manager of Training and Orientation, as well as the Lead Specialist.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher required.
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience, preferably in student enrollment services.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in working with data, maintaining accuracy in information systems such as Colleague or CRMs.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and communicate with diverse student populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, making independent decisions.
  • Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work evening and weekends.
