Position Summary
The Enrollment Operations team at Sinclair Community College provides exceptional support to current and new students. As an Enrollment Specialist, you will be part of a highly trained team that delivers front-line enrollment services to students. Your primary responsibility will be to provide accurate information, exceptional student service, and support for student inquiries and transactions in various enrollment functional areas.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional levels of student support service through the delivery of front-line enrollment support and assistance in areas such as Registration and Student Records, Testing and Remediation, Academic Advising, Financial Aid & Scholarships, and Bursar.
- Act as the first line of student contact, solving issues, completing transactions, and referring a predefined level of service to the home department supporting the Integrated Student Services Center.
- Deliver service through various methods, including in-person, inbound and outbound calls, responding to emails, and digital modalities.
- Participate in required training and developmental expectations to ensure high standards of service to students are maintained.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an Associate's degree required.
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience required; experience with student enrollment service areas preferred.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills required.
- Proficiency in working with and utilizing data, maintaining accurate data within information systems such as Colleague or software systems such as CRMs required.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member required.
- Ability to be sensitive to cultural diversity and demonstrate ability to communicate and interact effectively with a diverse student/customer population required.
- Flexibility to work evening and weekends required.
