The Affiliate Management team at Bright Health plays a crucial role in fostering long-term strategic growth, nurturing ongoing relationships, and overseeing contractual performance with our clients, which include affiliate providers and medical groups. Through various partnership models, this team ensures that our providers thrive in a value-based care environment.

The Market Success Manager for ACO partners, including ACO REACH, is an integral member of the Affiliate Management team, reporting directly to the Director of Market Success. This position is pivotal in supporting the ongoing implementation and performance of our managed services business and affiliate physician partnerships across multiple markets.

By collaborating with internal teams such as Operations, Clinical, Analytics, Contracting, and Finance, this role monitors and tracks partner performance against value-based care contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, it develops the necessary infrastructure to ensure strategic alignment between Bright Health and our owned clinics and affiliated providers.

This role will directly engage with partnerships and clients, emphasizing performance management in collaboration with Bright Health teams. Responsibilities include managing the performance of ACO partners, particularly in relation to value-based contracts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding each assigned partner's operations and structure from implementation through ongoing management.
  • Acting as the primary liaison for daily communications between Bright Health and assigned affiliate providers.
  • Analyzing financial, utilization, and population health data to generate actionable insights for local clinical and outreach resources.
  • Coordinating and preparing for regular joint operations and leadership meetings.
  • Facilitating clinical integration activities between affiliate providers and Bright Health.
  • Serving as the communication channel for all network activities on behalf of affiliate providers, including risk adjustment and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with affiliate provider and Bright Health leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of three years of experience managing provider or payer entities in value-based contracts, including ACO experience.
  • Familiarity with value-based care reimbursement principles, reporting, and analytics.
  • Experience in managing value-based payer contracts and/or delegated services is preferred.
  • Direct experience working with providers and clinics in delegated service models is desirable.
  • Experience in closing quality gaps in clinical settings is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Excel is essential; experience with Power BI is preferred.
