Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Equipment Specialist to join our team at AdaptHealth LLC. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe use of home medical equipment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and educating patients on the proper use of home medical equipment. They will work closely with our team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and set up home medical equipment in patient homes, clinics, or long-term care facilities.
  • Educate patients and their caregivers on the safe use and maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Conduct regular follow-up visits to ensure that equipment is functioning properly and address any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment deliveries, installations, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and replacements.
  • Assist with customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • An entry-level sales, customer service background, or related experience (military, delivery driver with sales component, or healthcare technician experience).
  • A valid and unrestricted driver's license in the state of residence.
  • The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
