Position Overview:

The Senior Consultant in the Fraud Oversight Division will undertake analytical responsibilities to manage statewide social service program expenditures, ensuring compliance with federal reimbursement regulations. This role requires a proficient and flexible professional skilled in data analysis and process enhancement, with a focus on fraud prevention.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting thorough analyses of current processes and engaging with stakeholders to gather essential data.
  • Developing and implementing technology-driven strategies for process improvement in fraud management.
  • Maintaining existing operational processes and responding to ad-hoc data analysis requests.
  • Assisting in the development and monitoring of the agency's budget, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Collaborating with the Budget and Performance Reporting Manager to create data models that support informed decision-making.

Essential Qualifications:

Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in proofreading and providing constructive feedback on documents and reports.
  • Experience in project management and the ability to conduct independent research related to program policies.
  • Strong knowledge of investigative methods, public assistance programs, and fraud-related terminology.
  • Expertise in preparing professional correspondence and reports.
  • Experience in enhancing business processes and utilizing data analysis tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Effective communication skills for diverse audiences.

Additional Considerations:

Applicants with a background in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
