Data Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Data Manager to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. As a Clinical Data Manager, you will play a critical role in the collection, management, and analysis of clinical data for cancer research studies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement data management plans for clinical trials
- Collect, enter, and manage data from multiple sources, including electronic data capture systems and paper-based records
- Ensure data quality and integrity through data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation
- Collaborate with research teams to identify data needs and develop solutions
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for data management
- Provide training and support to research staff on data management best practices
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as psychology, epidemiology, or public health
- 1+ years of experience in data management, preferably in a clinical research setting
- Experience with electronic data capture systems, such as OnCore or REDCap
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Master's degree in a related field
- Experience with data analysis and statistical software, such as R or SAS
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for clinical trials, such as ICH-GCP
