Job SummaryWe are recruiting a Physician to provide clinical services at the Timothy Freeman, MD, Center for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). The Freeman Center is a national leader in providing specialized care to adults with IDD. Ideal candidates will have experience working with adults with IDD and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Essential Functions- Provide primary care to adults with a variety of intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and support staff.
- Coordinate care with multiple specialists within the health system.
- Document patient information, plan, and actions taken according to departmental guidelines.
- Maintain a working knowledge of relevant medical and legal issues.
- Participate in quality improvement efforts and education of healthcare professionals.
- Medical Degree (MD or DO).
- Licensure by the State of Ohio Medical Board.
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine.
- Active DEA license.
