About Boise Cascade Company

We are looking for a Capital Projects Leader to join our team at Boise Cascade Company. As a Project Engineering Manager, you will oversee the design, cost estimation, and planning of projects related to wood products manufacturing lines.

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a focus on mechanical engineering. They will have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the Wood Products or related industry and hold a Professional Engineer (PE) License.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Project Engineer and support the Project Manager by providing appropriate designs, calculations, technology comparisons, design and construction specs, cost estimates, machinery and construction RFPs and contracts, requisitions, quality assurance requirements, and installation and outage schedules.
  • Support construction and startup efforts at the mill and autonomously lead and manage subsets of projects within the overall large-scale project.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is between $84,700 - $164,500, depending on experience.
