Boise Cascade is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our capital projects team. As a Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the design, cost estimation, and planning of projects pertaining to wood products manufacturing lines.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a Professional Engineer (PE) License and a B.S. in Engineering discipline with Mechanical preferred. They will possess engineering analytical ability to evaluate structural, electrical, machine, thermal, and fluid designs, in addition to PLC machinery sequencing. The ideal candidate will have 7 years or more progressive experience in the wood products or related industry managing the full spectrum of capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan, and manage the scope, budget, schedule, and execution of capital projects associated with wood products manufacturing ranging to $50 mm.
  • Define roles and responsibilities, and direct and lead project team members, contractors, and consultants.
  • Autonomously manage all aspects of large capital projects from feasibility study through detail design, procurement, construction, start-up, post-startup optimization, and resolution of component failures.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is between $124,500 - $231,300, depending on experience.
