Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience + bonus + relocation package.

About the Role

The Procurement Director will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing project purchasing strategies to ensure optimal supplier performance and cost efficiency;
  • Managing the full procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to contract execution, for large construction projects;
  • Collaborating closely with design and construction teams to integrate procurement efforts into broader project goals;
  • Providing leadership and mentorship to procurement staff on both routine and complex projects;
  • Setting and monitoring supplier performance goals, with a focus on cost, quality, and service levels;
  • Overseeing the competitive bidding process, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation strategies;
  • Negotiating commercial terms and resolving contractual issues, including claims and disputes;
  • Conducting financial, commercial, and risk analysis to support procurement decisions;
  • Identifying and managing national and regional supplier relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field;
  • 8+ years of experience in Procurement or Sourcing, ideally within the construction, manufacturing, energy, or high-tech industries;
  • Experience managing procurement in a project-driven environment;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities;
  • Proficient in financial analysis and problem-solving;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
