Pediatric Respiratory Care at Dayton Children's Hospital

The Staff Respiratory Therapist III plays a crucial role in the multi-disciplinary healthcare team, providing high-quality respiratory care to children of all ages. This position requires expertise in oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, airway clearance techniques, and mechanical ventilation, among other skills.

As a member of our pediatric respiratory care team, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other specialists to provide exceptional care. Our team is dedicated to helping children manage respiratory diseases and illnesses, including asthma, cystic fibrosis, congenital conditions, and others.

Responsibilities:
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Aerosol therapy
  • Airway clearance techniques
  • Mechanical ventilation
  • CPR
  • Blood gas sampling and analysis
  • Non-invasive blood gas monitoring
