Job Overview: As a Respiratory Therapist III at Dayton Children's Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of skilled professionals to provide high-quality care to children of all ages. Our pediatric respiratory care team is dedicated to treating respiratory diseases and illnesses, including asthma, cystic fibrosis, and congenital diseases.

About the Role: This part-time position involves working 24 hours per week, every other weekend. You will be responsible for providing medically prescribed general, intermediate, and intensive respiratory care as a member of the multi-disciplinary health care team. Your duties will include oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, airway clearance techniques, assisted ventilation techniques, blood gas sampling and analysis, non-invasive blood gas monitoring, airway management, mechanical ventilation, CPR, bedside pulmonary function testing, sleep assessment, breathing retraining, home care instruction, patient/parent education, and smoking cessation counseling.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have an Associate's degree and be certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care and hold a Respiratory Care Professionals License from the Ohio Respiratory Care Board.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
