Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and a strong passion for providing high-quality care to pediatric patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general, intermediate, and intensive respiratory care to pediatric patients under the guidance of a Neonatal or Pediatric Coordinator
  • Perform oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, airway clearance techniques, assisted ventilation techniques, blood gas sampling and analysis, non-invasive blood gas monitoring, airway management, mechanical ventilation, CPR, bedside pulmonary function testing, sleep assessment, breathing retraining, home care instruction, patient/parent education, and smoking cessation counseling
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy (required)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (required)
  • RCP licensure from the Ohio Respiratory Care Board (required)
