Job Overview

Position: Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) - Business Systems Analyst
Compensation: $60 - $70/hr
Location: Remote with occasional onsite meetings

Work Arrangement: Primarily Remote with a few in-person meetings each quarter.
Employment Type: Contract (6+ Months)

DirectedLINK is a progressive government agency focused on improving operational efficiency and service delivery. We are in search of a proficient Business Systems Analyst to assist in the customization and enhancement of our Oracle EBS ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and document business requirements, outlining both current and future states.
  • Project Planning: Assist in creating a project plan that details tasks, timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including technology teams and business units, to ensure effective communication.
  • Validation Testing: Plan and conduct validation testing to confirm that requirements are fulfilled and the system operates correctly.
  • Gap Analysis: Perform gap analysis to assess the differences between current and desired states, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure software functionality and seamless integration.
  • Scope and Milestones Definition: Define project scope and milestones, ensuring alignment with the overarching goals of the agency.
  • Testing Coordination: Organize and participate in testing activities, developing action plans to resolve any identified issues.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track project progress and provide regular updates on status.
  • Alignment with Objectives: Ensure that project objectives are in line with the overall goals of the agency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a Business Systems Analyst, ideally in enterprise or public sector projects.
  • Proven expertise in gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Strong capabilities in validation testing and conducting gap analysis.
  • Experience with Oracle EBS ERP projects or other Tier 1 ERP solutions is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficient in project management tools for documentation, tracking, and reporting.
