Job Description

At Bright Metro, we are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist to join our team and oversee the management, monitoring, and implementation of data security software across the enterprise.

We are offering a highly competitive salary range of $120K-$150K, commensurate with experience, along with a hybrid work arrangement that includes two days of remote work, including Fridays, and another day of your choice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor data security software to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ensuring data security and integrity, working closely with other departments to develop and implement robust security protocols.
  • Collaborate with IT Infrastructure, Operations, and Security teams to maintain data security standards and best practices.
  • Recommend and assist in the implementation of data-hardening technologies to enhance overall security posture.
  • Manage numerous DLP platforms, including Microsoft Azure DLP and Varonis, to prevent data breaches and unauthorized access.
  • Develop, design, and improve IT data security policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  • Perform security access audits, identify vulnerabilities, and develop remediation plans to address them.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, preferably with a focus on data security.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a cyber security-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of data classification and management, as well as experience with Azure DLP (E5) platforms.
  • Familiarity with SIEM platforms, forensic cybersecurity, and Microsoft Operating Systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
