About the Company: E-Z-GO is a leading manufacturer of innovative vehicles designed for various applications, including golf carts, utility vehicles, and personal transport solutions. Their products are utilized in numerous environments, ranging from golf courses and recreational areas to industrial sites and community developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide, mentor, and train team members on the effective use of inspection tools and their job performance.
- Implement a structured quality audit framework that meets the standards of external auditors.
- Create and manage process audits along with schedules for critical safety-related components.
- Ensure the utilization of appropriate measurement instruments according to specifications and suggest new tools when necessary.
- Report non-conformance issues to relevant teams for prompt resolution.
- Organize, plan, and oversee the inspection team for both legacy production and new product introduction initiatives.
- Lead the maintenance and management of the gauge recall and calibration processes.
Qualifications:
Education:
A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
Software Proficiency:
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and associated tools such as APQP, PPAP, control planning, and FMEA is essential.
- A solid understanding of quality methodologies including SPC, Capability Analysis (Cp, CpK, PpK), Gage R&R, and metrology techniques is preferred. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret part and assembly blueprints, as well as Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
