Job Summary

The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software systems. This includes developing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans to ensure software systems meet requirements
• Identify and report defects to development teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role
• 2+ years of Professional Coding experience with any programming language
• 2+ years of relevant experience as part of a test team
• 2+ years of experience contributing to test automation and frameworks

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Technical field such as IT, Engineering, Math, Physics, or similar with Computer Science coursework or minor. Computer Science Degree accepted but not required.

Clearance

Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance

Other Qualifications

Relevant industry certifications, such as the Certified associate in software Testing (CAST) or the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80000 to $120000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
