Key Responsibilities
  • Business Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of in-season business performance and develop future financial strategies to support company goals.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Merchandising, Production, and Inventory & Allocation teams to drive business results.
  • Pre-Season Planning: Develop pre-season merchandise plans by connecting statistical analysis, assortment architecture, and merchant vision.
  • Seasonal Planning: Create seasonal architecture aligned with brand strategies and calendars, incorporating distortions, targets, and sales sensitivities.
  • Inventory Management: Manage monthly receipts to approved levels, analyzing buys and focusing on optimal inventory turn.
  • Performance Analysis: Conduct hindsight of merchandise/planning strategy to inform future planning and execution activities.
  • Financial Planning: Analyze business performance and make recommendations to maximize sales, profitability, and inventory, while mitigating risk.
  • Communication: Support creation of financial decks with commentary for key business meetings.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, operations, business, or supply chain.
  • Experience: 5+ years of retail planning, inventory management, financial planning, and/or production planning experience.
  • Skills: Excellent technical skills in Microsoft Excel and/or related planning, finance, or analytical systems.
  • Business Influence: Great business influence skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, grow performance capabilities, and handle shifting priorities.
  • Communication: Extremely strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to concisely present complex information and recommendations to various audiences.
