Job Title: Product Developer, Women's

Vuori, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Product Developer to join our team. As a Product Developer, you will be responsible for bringing our designs to life, working closely with our design, merchandising, and technical design teams to ensure accurate, complete, and timely communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the WIP process, including creating seasonal WIPs, ensuring all vendors are sending updated WIPs on a weekly basis, reviewing WIP data for accuracy, and following up on status as needed.
  • Manage all submits, including shipping, receiving, and distributing all submits.
  • Assist in preparing for meetings by organizing samples, submits, and merch guides.
  • Ensure data integrity of all critical style information and technical properties.
  • Maintain accuracy of technical packages that meet the product's goals for innovation, function, fit, and commercial viability.
  • Participate in fittings with the tech designer, designer, and merchandiser, communicating comments to vendors.
  • Communicate with suppliers and vendors on design and development-related issues.
  • Negotiate costing with vendors/factories to achieve costs that meet target wholesale and gross margin targets.
  • Responsible for communicating all comments to vendors and reviewing comments with designers.
  • Responsible for requesting, evaluating, and approving all compliance testing for designated categories.
  • Assist with creating seasonal workbooks, including communicating photo sample status, maintaining the 'photoshop' list, and proofing for accuracy of names, style #'s, product info, and images.
  • Monitor time/action calendars to hit target calendar dates, including proto, photo shoot, sales samples, pre-production, and bulk.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of product development experience or product management experience with an understanding of managing product from concept through completion.
  • Sense of fashion and trend in relation to the market.
  • Knowledge of materials used in engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Intermediate computer drawing skills for technical and construction details or related art using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills with emphasis on Google/Google docs & PLM Systems.
  • Aptitude for systems and systematic work.
  • Strong knowledge of costing, garment construction, and all pre-production coordination.

The salary range for this role is $75,000 a year - $85,000 a year.
