Role ResponsibilitiesAs a pivotal analytics expert in our lifecycle marketing initiatives, you will engage with intricate datasets, assess and benchmark campaign outcomes, and design experiments to gauge the success of marketing efforts. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Lifecycle Marketing, Campaign Operations, and Data Science.
In this position, you will be recognized as a trusted advisor and a creative problem solver, demonstrating a strong ability to tackle complex challenges. You will balance strategic thinking with hands-on data analysis, producing both high-level insights and detailed models tailored to business needs. Your success will stem from a blend of analytical expertise, technical skills, business insight, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for significant lifecycle marketing campaigns across various channels (Email, in-product messaging, chat, web, etc.) and stages of the customer journey, including acquisition, onboarding, engagement, conversion, growth, and retention.
- Analyze metrics to optimize marketing strategies and budget allocation.
- Create and maintain dashboards to monitor campaign performance and identify trends or anomalies.
- Conduct thorough analyses of cohort performance and link results to campaign experiments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance audience segmentation models and targeting strategies.
- Support the experimentation roadmap for digital experiences by identifying opportunities, drafting test charters, and partnering with analysts and data scientists for analysis and recommendations.
This role is designated as Hybrid, requiring a combination of in-office and remote work. Employees are expected to work in the office at least two days per week, with variations depending on team requirements.
QualificationsBasic Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Data Science, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field) with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years of experience.
- Proficient in SQL with over 6 years of experience in developing complex queries across multiple database systems.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in marketing and campaign measurement.
- Experience of 3+ years in A/B testing and experimentation, demonstrating a history of achieving conclusive results.
- Proficient in building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, or similar.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, R, Scala, Spark, or Perl.
- Understanding of statistical concepts and analysis, including hypothesis testing, regression, and experimental design.
- Strong spreadsheet modeling skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
- Experience applying both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques.
- Adept at working with loosely defined requirements, utilizing analytical skills to collaborate on solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in optimizing campaigns for superior conversion rates.
- Familiarity with data science and data engineering principles.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality and consistency.
- Advanced data analysis capabilities, including database query construction, data warehousing, forecasting, and business analysis.
- Exposure to big data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, Azure, Matillion, or Alteryx.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex data insights to senior leadership.
