Job Title: Sales Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Lead to join our team at Chico's FAS. As a Sales Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the management team in promoting a customer-focused sales culture, where our values and guiding principles are at the forefront of all store operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive for Results:
    • Establish clear expectations and hold the store team accountable for achieving brand, performance, and behavior standards.
    • Perform and oversee basic operational activities, including opening and closing duties, and merchandise flow processes.
    • Supervise associates engaged in sales, inventory receipt, reconciling cash receipts, or performing services for customers.
  • Build High Performing Teams:
    • Motivate and inspire the store team, promoting a shared vision while modeling core values.
    • Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
    • Communicate with store teams and Store Management to effectively lead positive change.
  • Customer Experience:
    • Model, teach, and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
    • Model sales expectations by utilizing various techniques and communicating product knowledge to the customer.
    • Build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
  • Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

Constant walking/standing (67-100% of 8-hour shift), occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of 8-hour shift), frequent climbing (34%-66% of 8-hour shift).
