Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Associate Lead to join our team at W.S. Badcock Corporation. As a Sales Associate Lead, you will be responsible for assisting the store manager and filling in during their absence to supervise all store activities, including sales, account management, deliveries, and store operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the store manager in supervising sales, account management, deliveries, and store operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Process customer orders and payments, and input sales data into the computer system.
  • Prepare and explain credit agreements, and accept and input customer payments.
  • Perform daily tasks, including preparing merchandise price tags and maintaining store records.
  • Supervise employees and ensure they are performing their duties safely and efficiently.
  • Implement company policies and procedures, and investigate customer complaints.
  • Supervise cash control, reconcile daily cash and sales receipts, and verify inventory accuracy.
  • Process cash refunds and merchandise credits, and prepare sales and merchandise reports.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6-12 months of retail sales and customer service experience.
  • Ability to work flexibility, including weekends.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment and use a calculator for math calculations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
