Salary and Benefits:
The starting salary is $18-20/hour, depending on experience, with benefits including paid school holidays, additional PTO, and health benefits for those working over 25 hours/week. An IRA contribution is also offered after 2 years of employment.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Performing day-to-day administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and emails, filing, data entry, and photocopying.
  • Managing staff and student files according to licensing and confidentiality standards.
  • Maintaining record-keeping documents according to licensing standards.
  • Preparing drop-in and late pick-up billing for the School Accountant.
  • Supporting inventory of supplies and communicating ordering needs to the Administrative Director.
  • Facilitating communication between caregivers, administration, and staff.
  • Maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for families and visitors.
  • Supporting staff and children in classroom and on playground as needed, especially to facilitate proper running of our late afternoon program.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have experience in an administrative position, preferably in an educational setting, and possess strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills. Excellent written and spoken communication skills are also essential. A love of children and flexibility to meet school needs are required.
