Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with front office patient interactions, including managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and organizing patient documentation.
  • Perform various administrative duties as required to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Address patient inquiries effectively and communicate messages to healthcare providers as necessary.
  • Conduct back office clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, gathering medical history, and assisting physicians during medical procedures.
  • Maintain a physical presence in the office, with the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Utilize electronic medical records systems for documenting patient information and services, adhering to office protocols.
  • Educate patients about the services and products available at our practice.
  • Prepare examination rooms with necessary equipment, supplies, and educational materials for patient care.
  • Carry out basic laboratory procedures, including blood specimen collection and conducting tests as directed.
  • Document patient care details accurately in electronic medical records.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant certification program.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Negative TB test results.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (EClinical or similar preferred).

Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a medical assistant role.

Compensation:
  • Salary: To be determined based on experience.
  • Job Type: Full-time.
  • Hourly Rate: $25.00.
