Job Title: QuikMedic Community Paramedic

At Hire Health, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Paramedic to join our team. As a Community Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing in-home assessment and treatment to patients enrolled in our Wellbe Programs.

About the Role:

As a Community Paramedic, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing quality patient care in accordance with clinical operating policies, statewide protocols, and accepted standards of care.
  • Attending to all patients in a courteous, professional manner.
  • Attending Community Paramedic Training as well as Wellbe equipment/device training in accordance with Amerimed-MIH Training Program within a week of hiring.
  • Operating the community vehicle in accordance with safety rules and regulations; company policies and procedures; federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and statutes.
  • Completing an equipment checklist at the beginning of each assigned shift.
  • Monitoring remote patient tracking and responding as appropriate in a timely manner.
  • Participating in discharge planning of Wellbe patients.
  • Completing initial in-home assessments and on-going home visits as appropriate for all patients enrolled in the program.
  • Ensuring deployed Wellbe devices are tracked and in good working order at all times.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fully state certified as a Paramedic as defined by the State of Georgia.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • 3 years minimum of experience as a Paramedic.
  • The Community Paramedic must be in good Clinical standing pass the scenarios test and PT test.
  • Must possess strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently; must be able to function as part of a care planning team.
Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS), CT, CCP are preferred. State required PALS, BLS, ACLS cards must be current as required by the State of Georgia DPH EMS division.
