Manufacturing Transformation Internship
Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Transformation Intern. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with our Transformation team to drive process improvements and cost savings across our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and waste reduction
- Conduct process studies to discover opportunities for increased line effectiveness
- Prepare statistical analysis of process capability to implement improved controls
- Aid in design and execution of various projects (systems and floor)
- Facilitate training for supervisors
- Support General Plant Safety, Food Safety, Food Defense Initiatives, and Good Manufacturing Practices
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Food/Baking Science, Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- Strong leadership, computer, and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and problem-solve in a challenging environment
