Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for our esteemed practice specializing in Oculoplastic Surgery. The ideal candidate will possess familiarity with electronic medical record systems and have a solid understanding of medical terminology.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves a variety of essential tasks, including:

  • Welcoming patients and guiding them from the waiting area to the examination rooms.
  • Documenting patient histories and medication details into electronic records.
  • Conducting preliminary vision assessments and ensuring the cleanliness of surgical instruments.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized environment in all examination areas.
  • Assisting with visual field tests as required.
Work Environment

This position will require flexibility to work across two designated areas within the practice. The Medical Assistant may be assigned to support one or two physicians during their shifts.

Job Type and Compensation

This is a part-time position with a competitive pay rate of $20.00 per hour.
