About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at VCI Construction in Henderson, NV. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising pre-construction and construction activities for assigned construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule major construction tasks, manage services of subcontractors, and coordinate activities of internal teams.
  • Ensure job safety, quality, schedule, and regulatory compliance on construction sites or project offices.
  • Travel extended days when required to site locations.
  • Build and maintain strong professional working relationships with major commercial and industrial developers.
  • Review and understand construction documents, plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
  • Perform material take-offs, request quotes from subcontractors and vendors, and provide estimates for labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.
  • Develop and maintain accurate work schedules, manage changes in scope of work, and verify quantities and completion percentages.
  • Manage inventory control, material management, and loss control processes.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of communication site development process, permitting processes, utility coordination, bill of material development, civil construction, quality assurance practices, and OSHA safety compliance practices.
  • Current valid driver's license required.
  • Experience in telecom/data infrastructure development and construction domestically or abroad is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both written and oral forms, with bi-lingual Spanish skills a plus.
  • Ability to work closely with customers, clients, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Ability to manage and lead teams, establish trusting relationships, and read, analyze, and write business correspondence and proposals.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other basic computer programs.
  • Extensive knowledge of approved practices, procedures, tools, and materials used in telecom line construction work.
  • Ability to apply logical principles and thinking to solve problems and make effective decisions.
