Rutland Regional Medical Center seeks a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will utilize high-frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques to produce and evaluate ultrasound images and related data. Your expertise will be essential in helping physicians render accurate medical diagnoses and provide quality patient care.

**Requirements:**

* Graduate of an AMA-accredited educational program for Diagnostic Sonography or equivalent
* Prior experience preferred
* BLS Certification through American Heart Association
* Registry preferred, or Registry eligible within 1 year of hire

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Produce and evaluate ultrasound images and related data
* Acquire and maintain specialized technical skills and medical knowledge
* Inject contrast media where applicable and institute life-saving measures
* Demonstrate safe, knowledgeable practice skills at all times
* Utilize ancillary devices, such as selected transducers
* Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills
